Ankor

Ankor is an alternative metal band with the female front singer/screamer Jessie Williams (Bristol, UK) the drummer girl Ra Tache (Brazil), David Romeu and Fito Martínez (Catalonia) formed in Tarragona (Barcelona, Spain) in 2003, when its members were only around 14 years old.

More than 10 years later, with 4 albums on their backs and spread worldwide, they are nowadays one of the Spanish references in this genre. In January 2015 they were chosen best newcomer band by the readers of the oldest and most prestigious rock magazine in Spain and South America: La Heavy (Heavy Rock/ Kerrang)
